Techcombank is rolling out international remittance accounts by integrating Visa Direct into its digital banking platform. The service uses Visa’s global payment network to facilitate cross-border transfers and offers an alternative to traditional correspondent banking, where payments may pass through several intermediary banks before reaching the recipient. By connecting directly with participating payment networks in North America and Europe, the service can reduce the number of intermediaries involved in a transaction and shorten the time needed to deliver funds.

The Government of Vietnam has promulgated Decree No. 284/2026/ND-CP, establishing the administrative sanctions applicable to violations involving crypto assets and the crypto asset market. The Decree provides a comprehensive enforcement framework governing the issuance, trading, and provision of crypto asset-related services under the pilot regulatory regime introduced by Resolution No. 05/2025/NQ-CP

Chính phủ đã ban hành Nghị định số 284/2026/NĐ-CP quy định về xử phạt vi phạm hành chính trong lĩnh vực tài sản mã hóa và thị trường tài sản mã hóa. Nghị định thiết lập khung xử phạt đối với các hành vi vi phạm phát sinh trong quá trình phát hành, giao dịch và cung cấp dịch vụ liên quan đến tài sản mã hóa tại Việt Nam theo cơ chế thí điểm được quy định tại Nghị quyết số 05/2025/NQ-CP.

Nghị định số 272/2026/NĐ-CP của Chính phủ được kỳ vọng sẽ tháo gỡ các điểm nghẽn về thể chế và thiết lập cơ sở pháp lý nhằm đẩy nhanh tiến độ triển khai các dự án năng lượng trọng điểm.

Ngày 30 tháng 6 năm 2026, Chính phủ ban hành Nghị định số 253/2026/NĐ-CP (“Nghị định 253”), quy định chi tiết và các biện pháp thi hành Luật Thuế thu nhập cá nhân số 109/2025/QH15 (“Luật TNCN”), được sửa đổi, bổ sung bởi Luật số 09/2026/QH16. Nghị định 253 có hiệu lực từ ngày 1 tháng 7 năm 2026, tức chỉ một ngày sau ngày ban hành, đồng thời thay thế Nghị định số 65/2013/NĐ-CP và một số quy định về thuế thu nhập cá nhân tại Nghị định số 91/2014/NĐ-CP và Nghị định số 12/2015/NĐ-CP. Cùng ngày, Bộ Tài chính ban hành Thông tư số 87/2026/TT-BTC để hướng dẫn chi tiết hơn việc triển khai thực hiện.

On 30 June 2026, the Government issued Decree No. 253/2026/ND-CP (“Decree 253”), providing detailed regulations and implementation measures for the Law on Personal Income Tax No. 109/2025/QH15 (“PIT Law”), as amended by Law No. 09/2026/QH16. Decree 253 took effect on 1 July 2026, one day after its issuance, and replaced Decree No. 65/2013/ND-CP and certain PIT provisions of Decrees No. 91/2014/ND-CP and 12/2015/ND-CP. The Ministry of Finance issued Circular No. 87/2026/TT-BTC on the same date to provide further implementing guidance. 

On December 10, 2025, during its 10th Session, the 15th National Assembly officially passed the Law on High Technology (Law No. 133/2025/QH15), superseding the 2008 Law on High Technology. This key normative legal act institutionalizes a new state governance model: establishing high technology, and specifically "Strategic Technology," as a strategic breakthrough to enhance national self-reliance and transform the economic growth model.
